Silver Glen Springs has two ramps that I like to use.
Ramps: Astor Boat Ramp y Ed Stone Park
Astor Boat Ramp It’s the closest. Address: 55400 Front st. Astor, FL 32102
Ed Stone Park It’s my favorite but it’s a little further away. Address: 2990 W SR-44 Deland, FL 32720.
Very good ramps but if you go on a weekend you must go early since parking is limited!
If you go by car (Direct to Spring) this is the address: 5271 N Highway 19 Fort McCoy, Florida 32134
The admission fee for the use of one is $13 per person per day.
Activities: Swimming, Picnicking, Hiking, Kayaking
Restrooms: Portable toilets available with changing area
Amenities: 58 picnic tables, 30 pedestal grills, 10’x15′ kayak launch pad
